Elsebeth Bruun Ludvigsen (EBL) – Denmark
Elsebeth has been creating ceramics for bonsai since 1989. A member of the European Bonsai Potter Collective, she uses mainly porcelain clay & cuts the feet after the pot is formed. Specialising in small pots for mame (tiny) bonsai & of course, accent plantings, carving & hand-painting techniques are used. Elsebeth makes her own glazes, using a lot of natural ingredients such as wood ash & lava sand. The effects are stunning. Some stoneware work is also available.
