Echizen Bunzan (bio credit Alex Rudd – Top Shelf Bonsai Pots) Kaoro Ito’s potter name is Bunzan, and the wares are ‘Echizen’ yaki from Fukui prefecture on Honshu Island, Japan (Echizen region). He is now retired, but his pots remain popular in Japan & worldwide.
