You are welcome to bring your own bonsai or starter material for advice & if appropriate, work during the class. Lessons are adjusted seasonally, for example styling & wiring of conifers in winter, repotting in early Spring, leaf reduction or defoliation of deciduous trees in Summer.

Lesson cost: $200 per person per 2-hr session.

Holiday Care & Boarding

Whether you’re going away for 2 days in mid-summer or for 2 months in Winter, we can care for your bonsai whilst you travel. This gives you peace of mind that your bonsai will be checked daily, watered & fertilised as required, and any seasonal maintenance work attended to reliably in your absence. Rates available on request.

Repotting & Restyling

We will repot your bonsai into its original pot or a new container, at the right time of year to ensure it continues to thrive. Trimming and/or more complex restyling can be done in the correct season for your tree, after consultation with you, depending on its stage of development. Appropriate after-care is provided in our nursery. We can pick up from you & deliver back, by arrangement. Fees start from $25 per 30cm pot for repotting. Please enquire, we are happy to advise & guide you on your tree’s requirements.
